At this time, you cannot pay your property taxes via an online credit card payment to the municipality.

FAILURE TO RECEIVE A TAX BILL DOES NOT RELIEVE THE OBLIGATION OF THE TAX PAYER.

Any delinquency is subject to interest at the rate of 8% per annum on the first $1,500.00 and 18% per annum for any amount over $1,500.00 retroactive to the first of the month. A 6% Year End Penalty will be applied to any delinquencies over $10,000 at the end of the year.

If you make an online tax payment, a digital receipt webpage will display that you should print and/or save when your online payment submission has been succsessfully received by the municpality. The digital-receipt webpage is your OFFICIAL and ONLY receipt for your online tax payment .

Quarterly payments become due on August 1st, November 1st, February 1st and May 1st. There is a 10 day grace period each quarter. Payments are due NO later than the 10th of the month of the quarter it's due.

You can make a payment in person or by mail using a check, money order, cash, and you can make an online tax payment using an electronic-check. To avoid statutory interest, tax payments must be received in the Tax Office by the 10th day of the month when a quarter is due. If the 10th falls on a holiday or weekend, grace period will be extended to the following business day. After that, the interest is retroactive to the 1st of the month in which the payment is due. POSTMARK IS NOT ACCEPTABLE.

WHEN OWNERSHIP OF THE PROPERTY CHANGES, THE TAX BILL IS TO BE FORWARDED TO THE NEW OWNER(S) OR THEIR PAYING AGENT.

In accordance with the provisions of N.J.S.A. 54:4-64, the first half taxes of any year are on the basis of half the taxes of the preceding year.

Any municipal lien remaining unpaid is subject to sale on the 11th day of the 11th month of the current tax year.
